AI For Everyday Life
In this 11 class course, John provides a broad overview of the use of AI in your daily life. Topics include: mastering AI prompts, creative writing, safety, general topic research, creative use of images, creating AI projects, learning with AI and AI agents as an assistant.
Classes are designed to give significant opportunity for hands on use of AI using your smartphone (Android or iPhone).

Prompting is the basic thing we do when we ask the AI chatbot to answer a question or perform a task for us. Learning how to effectively prompt the AI will help you obtain the results you are trying to achieve more accurately and quickly. This class includes explanations of the topics shown below by the instructor and plenty of hands-on prompting practice to understand and apply the techniques.
In this session we:
- Review basic prompting best practices
- Compare 'Iterative' prompting, 'All at Once' prompting and then talk about a hybrid of them
- Learn to prompt the AI to ask clarifying questions
